Stuff White People Say

Note on usage of quotation marks in titles (Please read)

For the post titles, terms or phrases within quotation marks may indicate direct quotations OR that the phrase is to be read from a voice not my own. These are usually used for paraphrasing statements containing the subject “I” and for paraphrasing questions.

For example, “I’m a good summarizer of black opinion,” is a paraphrase. This is to be read as:

Stuff White People Say: “I’m a good summarizer of black opinion.”

versus

Stuff White People Say: I’m a good summarizer of black opinion.

which could mean: “Stuff White People Say: Restructure is a good summarizer of black opinion.”
